  • Asian Director’s Conference: Kathmandu, Nepal, February 8-11, 1983 - FORE conduced a cross-cultural study on the functioning of Boards of Directors. The findings of this study served as a major input in the Asian Director’s Conference organised by the AIMA under the auspices of AAMO in collaboration with FORE.
  • MIM Small Business Workshop: Port Dickson, Malaysia, August 22-25, 1983.First Asian Workshop on Human Resource Development in Airlines: Kathmandu, Nepal, December 9-12, 1983 - This workshop was jointly organised by FORE, Indian Airlines and Royal Nepal Airlines.
  • Second Asian Director’s Conference: Kathmandu, Nepal (March 7-11, 1984) - FORE expanded the cross-cultural study on the functioning of Board of Directors and presented a report at the Second Asian Director’s Conference organised by AIMA, under the auspices of the Asian Association of Management Organisations in collaboration with FORE.
  • Process of Learning in Organisations: Kathmandu, Nepal (August 17-20, 1984) - FORE organised this workshop in collaboration with Indian Society for Training and Development and Management Association of Nepal for the benefit of senior managers, researchers, teachers and trainers.
  • MIM Small Business Workshop: Port Dickson, Malaysia (December 12-14, 1984) -FORE participated in this workshop in which guidelines and mechanics were established for developing training manuals based on the training needs for small entrepreneurs, identified through cross cultural research studies.
  • Second Asian Workshop on Human Resource Development in Asian Airlines: Bangkok, Pattaya (January 12-16, 1985).
  • Effective Personnel Management: Mussoorie (May 4-7, 1985) - FORE in collaboration with NIPM (Delhi Branch) organised this workshop.
  • Second Regional Workshop on Process of Learning in Organisations: Kathmandu (June 14-17, 1985).
  • Third MIM Small Business Workshop: Port Dickson, Malaysia (September 29-October 5, 1985).
  • National Seminar on Training in Public Enterprises: Current Issues and Future Outlook: New Delhi (November 15-16, 1985) – In response to the Prime Minister’s call to effectively develop human resources, FORE in collaboration with BPE organised the National Seminar to operationalise the goal of optimum human resource development.
  • FORE & MAN Joint Training Programmes: Kathmandu (December 1985).
  • Advanced Personnel Management Programme: Nainital (May 1-5, 1986) – It was organised by FORE in collaboration with NIPM, UP Branch.
  • Management in Government (MIG) Programme: Dehradun (September 17-30, 1986) – The Department of Personnel, Government of India identified FORE as one of the institutions to conduct training programmes for Public Administrators. As a consequence, the first “Management-in-Government” programme was conducted on September 17-30, 1986.
  • Third Asian Workshop on Human Resources Development in Asian Airlines: Hong Kong (September 22-24, 1986).
  • A Study of Organisational Climate and Organisational Redesign of International Airports Authority of India (IAAI). (1986)
  • Passenger Facilitation at Indira Gandhi International Airport - FORE in collaboration with IAAI conducted a mid-night survey of the system of passenger facilitation at the International Airports. This report served as an input for a seminar on “Changing Work Culture” organised by IAAI. (1986).
  • Training in Asian Airlines – Current Issues and Future Outlook (1986).
  • Managerial Excellence: Indian Context: Pune (October 16-18, 1986) – This seminar was organised by FORE in collaboration with IMDR, Pune.
  • Quality of Work life (November 19-25, 1986).
  • “HRD – Emerging Perspectives” for the Singareni Collieries Company Limited, Kothagudam (December 20-21, 1986) – A two-day workshop on “HRD-Emerging Perspectives” was conducted for Singareni Collieries Co. Ltd at Kothagudam.
  • National Seminar on Training for Attitudinal Change in Public Enterprises: New Delhi (February 13-14, 1987) – The Seminar was organised in collaboration with Standing Conference on Public Enterprises (SCOPE).
  • Workshop on International Airports and Travel Industry Interface: New Delhi (February 21, 1987) – To further the cause of tourism, FORE conducted this workshop by bringing face to face the providers and users of services at international airports.
  • Workshop on Managerial Effectiveness for Chief Engineers of UPSEB, New Delhi (May 25-27, 1987).
  • First Workshop on Human Resource Development in Fertilizer Sector: Chail (HP), September 10-14, 1987 - Based on request from the Fertilizer Industry, FORE prepared a special programme for top management on HRD.
  • Advanced Personnel Management Programme: Puri, December 16-19, 1987.
  • Second Workshop on Human Resource Development in Mining Sector: Srinagar (June 6-9, 1987).
  • Workshop on “Culture, Values and Quality of Work Life” for grassroots level trade union leaders and first line Supervisors of UPSEB, Harduaganj, Aligarh (August 22-23, 1988) – The objective of this workshop was to sensitize the grassroots level trade union leaders, to concepts of Indian Philosophy, culture and values and organisation of work based on these values.
  • Impact of Social and Human Factors in Technology Transfer: New Delhi (April 7-8, 1988).
  • National Workshop on Strategies for Changing Work Culture in Corporate Sector: New Delhi (April 29-30, 1988) – In this workshop, experiences of eminent managers were used to define issues and solutions. Along with it, research work of FORE and other eminent researchers were presented to stimulate the discussion.
  • Advanced Personnel Management Programme: Bhubaneshwar (May 5-7, 1988) – This programme was for Heads and deputy Heads of Personnel Departments and Training Departments.
